In this article, we will list the instruction for editing currency format on your Shopify store when installing and uninstalling the Calbot app.
I. Edit Shopify store's currency format on installation of Calbot app:
Before using Calbot, you should edit your store's currency format to make the app work properly on your store.
1. Select Settings from your Shopify Admin:
2. Select General:
3. In Store currency, select Change formatting:
4. Replace the HTML with currency code with the original code below:
<span class=money>$ {{amount}} USD</span>
NOTE: Adjust the currency symbol and abbreviation to match with your settings.
5. Replace the HTML without currency code with the code below:
<span class=money>$ {{amount}} USD</span>
NOTE: Adjust the currency symbol and abbreviation to match with your settings.
6. Select Save to apply your settings:
II. Reverse Shopify store's currency format on uninstallation of Calbot app:
When you uninstall Calbot app from your Shopify store, you should reverse its formatting back to the original formatting before you install Calbot app.
1. Select Settings from your Shopify Admin:
2. Select General:
3. In Store currency, select Change formatting:
4. Replace the HTML with currency code with the original code below:
{{amount_no_decimals_with_comma_separator}} USD
NOTE: Adjust the currency symbol and abbreviation to match with your settings.
5. Replace the HTML without currency code with the code below:
{{amount_no_decimals_with_comma_separator}}$
NOTE: Adjust the currency symbol and abbreviation to match with your settings.
6. Select Save to apply your settings:
